Instructive Response

Today's reading: 2 Corinthians 4:1-6

As I read Paul's continued response to his critics about preaching the gospel, I was struck by how his response provides a wonderful guideline for us as we go about sharing the message of Christ. Verse 3 spoke powerfully to me.

"We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God."

Take a few minutes to think about sharing the message of Christ by "the open statement of the truth." What does that phrase mean to you? And what would a conversation where you delivered that truth look like? Tami
