Wise Warning

2 John  The elder to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all who know the truth...

Today we're considering the tiny little Book of 2 John which contains both encouragement and a warning. John encourages the recipient of this letter (and us) to walk according to God's commands but then provides a stern warning to be on the alert for false teaching--with the specific instruction to NOT invite false teachers and/or teaching in to our homes. Wise words then and wise words now. 

So how can/do you guard against false teachers and teaching coming into your home (tv, internet, cell phone, in person)? How important is it to regularly be taking in God's Word? Tami
