A Soft Delivery

Today's reading: Proverbs 25:1-28

If you've ever experienced having a broken bone, you know that in most cases force is necessary for the break to occur. Bones are strong and hard, and they support the weight and movement of our bodies. That's why the words of Proverbs 25:15 caught my attention--"A soft tongue will break a bone." Solomon cleverly paired together two things that don't have a normal relationship with each other to point out and emphasize the impact we can have when we wisely choose not only our words, but how we deliver them.

What are the benefits of using soft words--both as a deliverer of the words and as a recipient? Is there a situation that needs a "soft tongue" approach from you today? Tami
