Living Out Good

Today's reading: 1 Peter 4: 1-11

Life as we've known it changes once we make the decision to receive Christ as our Savior. Living to satisfy our human wants and desires ceases. Our focus and thinking, instead, shifts to doing the will of God, and being a living example of doing good. Peter provides us with some instruction on this good and godly living in verses 7-11--be self-controlled, sober-minded, love each other, show hospitality, serve one another with the spiritual gift(s) God has given you.

Think back over the past week or so. What's at least one example of how you have lived out and demonstrated one or more of Peter's instructions on godly living in verses 7-11. Tami
