A Healing Tongue

today's reading.
Proverbs 12    Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid...

the blog.
A picture of a wise person is what I found as I delved into Proverbs 12. Detail after detail to help me understand being wise--righteous, prudent, caring. Now there were two verses that spoke loudly to me--verse 18 that talked about the tongue of the wise being healing, and then verse 19 that said those who plan peace have joy. They communicated to me that what we say (or sometimes refrain from saying) and how we say it can bepowerful. I see verse 18 and 19 really working together. Basically, a great help to getting a wise, healing tongue is for us to center our daily plan on peace.

So what does having a healing tongue look like for you? (I'd love to read some examples if you're up to sharing). And, any thoughts on planning peace? Tami W.
