Side by Side

today's reading.
Philippians 1:27-30    Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel...

the blog.
Part of Paul's encouragement to the believers in Philippi is the instruction to "stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents" (vs. 27-28). What a great reminder of the need to work together and stay in fellowship with other believers.

So what benefits have you experienced when you've worked side by side with other believers? What are some examples of how you've "strived side by side for the faith of the gospel"? Tami W.
