Helpers

Today's reading: Psalm 82:1-8; Proverbs 21:13; Proverbs 19:17

Psalm 82 gives us a glimpse of God's protective and caring nature in that He gives justice to the weak, afflicted and poor, and He rescues those in need. And God expects us to do the same. He wants us to use the power we have to protect and help others in need.

How aware are you of people who need assistance--families struggling to make ends meet, someone who is suffering physically, those who are homeless? When’s the last time you helped someone with a physical, financial or emotional need? Would you ask God to show you how you can be a "helper" today, and then take action? Tami
