For You

Today's reading: Joshua 23:1-16

As Joshua is nearing the end of his life, he addresses the Israelites (as he has done many times before) reminding them of God's goodness, provision and protection, but also cautioning them about keeping their eyes fixed on God as they go forward. The words of verses three and eleven summarized Joshua's message well for me.

"And you have seen all that the LORD your God has done to all these nations for your sake, for it is the LORD your God who has fought for you" (vs. 3).

"Be very careful, therefore, to love the LORD your God" (vs. 11)

What has God done "for your sake" over the years? How has He provided and protected you? Tami
