Leveraging an Opportunity

Most Saturdays you can find our son, Jeremy, and I at a local thrift store. One of his quirks, related to his autism, is his insistence in buying a VHS video each week from a specific thrift store.

Like most thrift stores this store is filled with used, donated goods. As Halloween approached, however, I noticed racks of new Halloween costumes for customers to purchase. Immediately, I understood the wisdom of their decision.

Many people go to thrift stores to find used apparel to make into costumes, but this store realized the value in giving customers some new options as well.

Proverbs 9:12 teaches, “If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you.”

Be wise and keep your eyes open for timely marketing opportunities in your business.
