A Challenging Courtship

Kevin is an African American salesperson who asked a lady at his church for a date. She was Hispanic and Puerto Rican.

This young lady informed Kevin she was interested, but her parents were racist and she didn't want trouble at home. Kevin chose to persist for her affection.

Over the next three months Kevin frequently visited the restaurant owned by this lady's parents. He built a relationship with the parents, without them knowing his true intentions.

He, then, requested to date their daughter. Thanks to Kevin's perseverance, they're now husband and wife, with her parent's blessing.

Hebrews 10:36 teaches, You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

In business, and in life, perseverance is critical for success.
