Integrity Moments - Oct. 18, 2012

The Real CEO

October 18, 2012

While driving to a meeting with another marketplace ministry I began praying. I asked God “What would seeking first the Kingdom of God look like in this meeting?”

Suddenly, I imagined Jesus as the CEO of a holding company over hundreds of different businesses. Many of those businesses had similar purposes and dreams, with some of the leaders competing and even harming each other.

But, Jesus has a vision for the good of the entire organization. He reminded each leader that we’re all on the same team, and that we should help each other, not harm others.

If you’re competing against other Christians in business, remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
