Unlikely Relief
By: Rick Boxx
October 1, 2012

Three months into Mark Whitacre’s prison term he felt hopeless and couldn’t imagine how his family could survive financially for his nine year prison term. Then Mark accepted Christ and shared his burdens with God.

God had a way! Mark’s whistleblowing work with the FBI resulted in a $3 billion settlement for the customers of Archer Daniels Midland. On their own, out of gratitude, these Fortune 500 businesses banded together and offered to cover all living and college expenses for Mark’s family for nine years!

Romans 15:13 teaches, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

God is still in the business of answering prayers and providing hope.

Mark Whitacre blessed us by speaking at our quarterly event. Click here to watch a video from the event.
