God in the Workplace

An East Coast bank was legally charged with the responsibility of managing a large trust for an individual who had passed away. The bank was directed to use this trust to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ through radio.

Recently, we submitted a grant request to this trust to fund further expansion of our “Integrity Moments” radio program. Our request was declined.

The reason? The bank informed me that “mixing religion with business is totally inappropriate.” Unfortunately, this mindset permeates much of our culture.

Psalm 24:1 teaches, “The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”

God rules over the business world as much as He does over our homes and families. Shouldn’t we invite Him into all parts of our life?
