Matt Redman's Gift

Singer/songwriter, Matt Redman, was just 7-years-old when his father committed suicide, leaving him confused and hurting. During that time, Matt heard a worship band from the United States at his church in Britain.

That day, Matt’s heart was deeply touched with healing and comfort, and a passion for worship ignited. Years later, he discovered that God had given him the gift of singing and songwriting to minister to thousands, in the same way he had been helped.

2 Corinthians 1:3 teaches, “Praise be to the … God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

If you’re seeking your purpose in life, don’t overlook how God has comforted you in times past.
