The Graduation Burden
By: Rick Boxx

As graduation season approaches, many college students may be excited about completing their education, yet anxious about the reality of the burden they now face. According to www.finaid.org over 65% of students graduating with a bachelor’s degree are now faced with over $23,000 in average student loan debt.

This debt can crush their hopes and dreams. This burden can impact job decisions, delay the launching of a business, and even delay starting a family.

Unfortunately, many of our young people are learning at an early age the harsh realities of Proverbs 22:7 that teaches, “The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”

If you desire the best for the young people in your life, encourage them to look for creative solutions to funding college.
