My Futile Plan
By: Rick Boxx

Someone once told me, “To give God a good laugh, tell Him your plans.” There have been occasions when I’ve been working my plan, to only remember that I hadn’t asked God for His thoughts! Without God’s guidance, my plans are futile.

To discover God’s plan one needs to pray and listen. If you pray, He will guide you into a plan that is in alignment with His plan.

God said in Isaiah 46, “I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure.”

God’s plan will be accomplished. The question is, “Will you be a help or a hinder to His plan?”
