Double Life Turmoil
By: Rick Boxx

While Mark Whitacre was an executive for ADM he was working undercover with the FBI. For two years he wore a wire to help the FBI uncover a vast fraud inside the executive ranks of that organization. The stress must have been incredible.

The movie, “Informant,” spotlights Mark as the stress becomes so overwhelming that he snaps. His wife finds him outside at 3 in the morning with a leaf blower obsessively working in the yard!

Leading a double life led Mark to feel as badly as Job. Who said in Job 3:26, “I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil.”

If your work life and your family life feel like a double life, don’t be surprised if it brings turmoil. Seek peace as soon as possible.
