The Money Trap
By:Rick Boxx

George was a new Christian when he landed a job in a retail industry that many believe to be immoral. His pay and bonus opportunities were incredible!

Over the years, his family and friends challenged George’s decision to stay in this job, but he didn’t want to give up his 6 figure income. He began rationalizing the morality of his job and distancing himself from those criticizing his industry.

Eventually George’s bosses were indicted for fraud, leaving George out of work and his reputation tarnished!

1 Timothy 6:10 teaches, “For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”

Is the size of your paycheck the only reason you’re at your current job?
