Inviting Jesus to Work
By: Rick Boxx
March 26, 2013

Jim was frustrated with his boss. His boss had lost a loved one and seemed to be expressing grief by demanding more from her subordinates. Jim wanted to confront his boss, but decided to pray first.

As he prayed, Jim realized God wanted him to address his own issues first. Jim’s joy was not being robbed by his boss. Instead, it was due to locking God out of his work.

Jim meditated on Colossians 3:17, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Jim invited Jesus to join him at work. He began experiencing peace and a better relationship with his boss. Have you invited Jesus into your workplace today?
