The Dark Side
By Rick Boxx
March 14, 2011

Jim was a pastor’s son and tried to live out his faith, until he learned of his wife’s affair. Anger and revenge against his wife’s boyfriend led him into a divorce, a life of pornography and detailed preparations to murder the boyfriend. Fortunately, he never executed the plan.

It took two years of prayer, and God’s grace for Jim to overcome his anger and to bring about a reunion with his wife and kids.

In Genesis 4:6-7 God said to Cain, “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you; but you must master it.”

Jim, with God’s help, finally mastered his anger. Have you mastered yours?
