A Wisdom Vacuum

A Society for Human Resource Management and AARP report discovered that nearly half of the 430 human resource professionals surveyed believe the potential loss of talent, due to Baby Boomer retirements, could be a problem for their organizations.
Our culture has conditioned us to leave the workforce at 65. Our cultural concept of retirement is not biblical and undermines the reality that God has plans for all of our life, not just a segment.
Ecclesiastes 2:21 teaches, “For a person may labor with wisdom, knowledge and skill, and then they must leave all they own to another who has not toiled for it. This too is meaningless and a great misfortune.”
In your workplace don’t overlook the value of keeping wisdom around for as long as they’re willing to stay.
