Keeping In Step
By Rick Boxx
June 7, 2011

Jim, a long time acquaintance, has been in the construction industry for decades, but recently he sensed God calling him to the entertainment industry. Making dramatic career turns can be tricky. It requires being sure that it’s God directing you, rather than some crazy idea.

In Jim’s case, he has a powerful story of God’s revelation to him and his wife at the same time. As he sought confirmation, God affirmed he needed to move to a different city to start an evangelistic entertainment business.

Paul taught in Galatians 5:25, “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”

If you’re sensing a change in direction in your life, keep in step with God’s leading. Pray, seek affirmation, and follow God’s lead.
