Signs of Success
By: Rick Boxx

My friend, Terry, president of CTA, Inc., realizes that many people choose profits instead of people due to their definition of success. He decided to help reshape his staff’s thinking.

Terry hung a sign for all employees to see. The essence of the sign says:

“Signs of Success

  1. God is pleased
  2. Our vision is advanced
  3. Our mission is fulfilled."

Romans 8 teaches, “Because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”

In business, our flesh usually desires profit over people. Profit is necessary, but true success is pleasing God by caring for His people.
