Letting Go

Our daughter Megan learned of a costly error at her grad school that needed clarified promptly. While Megan was processing the situation, Kathy jumped in to action making calls and helping her daughter solve this problem.

Later, the university staff called Megan to inform her that the problem could be resolved, but in the future they expected her to handle her own problems. Kathy suddenly realized she needed to release her daughter to adulthood.

Hannah in 1 Samuel 1 said about her son Samuel, “So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole lifehe will be given over to the Lord.”

Turning loose of control can be hard for a mother, but it also can be hard for those in business. Are you giving God control of your work?
