Regard For the Weak
By Rick Boxx
July 18, 2011

Phil is in the process of launching a new business. As we talked about his plans and dreams for this venture, I was struck by one of his goals. He shared that he desired to build a business with a team of people that could include those who are disadvantaged or handicapped.

Most people trying to build a team are more interested in hiring the best for the least amount possible. Philanthropy towards those in need seldom gets factored into the bottom line equation of business.

Psalm 41:1 teaches, “Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble.”

Phil understands that God is serious about helping the weak. Phil’s willing to take the related financial risks. Would you?
