The Power of God’s Presence

According to a “Focus on the Family” radio broadcast, a military chaplain was traveling by helicopter over a treacherous battle zone in Iraq. Suddenly the helicopter pitched to the left.

It then plummeted towards the ground, as the pilot averted a missile! Eventually, the pilot regained control over the helicopter. Although the chaplain said little during the crisis, his commanding officer later said, “I’m sure glad you were with us.”

This chaplain suddenly realized he was what he calls a “presence bearer of God.” By simply being a reliable man of God he brought peace to others.

Psalm 89:15 teaches, “Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord.”

Are you consistently bringing peace to others in your workplace?
