Test Me Lord?
By Rick Boxx
February 1, 2011

In Sherwood Baptist Church's upcoming movie called "Courageous," one of the characters who couldn't afford to lose his job was offered a promotion, but it would require that he illegally doctor some of the shipping documents. They gave him until the next morning to decide.

After wrestling with the fear of losing the job his family desperately needed, he revealed his courage by telling his boss he couldn't participate in the deception. Then he learned it was a test, and that he had answered correctly.

King David wrote in Psalm 26:1-2, "Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity and I have trusted in the Lord without wavering. Examine me, O Lord, and try me; Test my mind and my heart."

Sometimes God will test our integrity. Are you ready?
