New Year's Eve Joy
By: Rick Boxx
December 31, 2014

When I owned a consulting practice, I often stayed late on New Year’s Eve. New Year’s Eve was fun for me, because I wanted to tally up our final profit and loss numbers.

It wasn’t to greedily examine my profits. Instead, it was to determine how much extra I could give to charity before the tax year ended.

Joy would fill my heart as I thought of the impact my gifts might make.

In 2 Corinthians 8:7 Paul told the Corinthians, “ But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you —see that you also excel in this grace of giving.”

Today’s the last day for you to excel in giving and get a tax deduction!
