For years, Matt moved steadily towards his vision for his company. He was on the verge of a breakthrough when he hit a wall!

Suddenly, he became distracted by a spirit of laziness and he found himself struggling with the details that would get him to his goals. Often, we’re on the verge of a breakthrough, but fail in the final steps.

In Matthew 14, Peter found himself walking on the water towards Jesus. Only a few steps from his goal, Peter became distracted and began to sink. “But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, cried out, Lord, save me!”

Many of us find ourselves on the verge of a breakthrough. Success is only a few steps away if we can stay focused and avoid the distractions.

Today’s “Integrity Moment” was adapted with permission from the writings of Matt Cline.
