Proper Respect
By: Rick Boxx
August 5, 2015

It’s been interesting to watch my daughter, as a recent graduate, applying and interviewing for jobs. The process is much different today than prior to the internet.

Due to easier access, the internet has dramatically increased the volume of job applications and potential candidates. The challenge for the employer is determining if and how to respond to those job applicants who don’t get the job.

My daughter has voiced frustration, and has been unimpressed, when she’s had interviews, but never received any notice about the outcome of the interview.

1 Peter 2:17 teaches, “Show proper respect to everyone.”

It’s up to you to determine what respect means in your situation, but consider how you can show respect to others – even those interviewing for a position in your company. It can impact your reputation!
