According to a Conference Board study on job satisfaction our young workers are experiencing a swing in work satisfaction due to their changed circumstances. In 2010, only 37% of employees under 25 years old were satisfied with their job.
In 2011, however, that satisfaction jumped to over 50%. The researchers believe the dramatic improvement came from “the reality of the job markets.” They’re now happy to have a job.
Philippians 4:12 teaches, “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.”
Regardless of the economic times, if God has provided you a job be thankful and content.
