A Good Sport

In our church, Jeremy, our son with autism, knows where every clock is located so that he can manage his obsession with time. There were no clocks; however, in the sanctuary of a church we visited.
During the greeting time, I turned to see Jeremy twisting a lady’s arm so that he could see her watch. His need to know the time trumped his concern for this lady. Fortunately, she was a good sport!
Philippians 4:4 teaches, “Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
Like Jeremy, many of us can get so focused on our interests that we ignore the interests of those around us. In your workplace, keep your eyes on the needs of others more than yourself.
