Persistence Pays

Suzanne and Sarah wouldn’t take “no” for an answer. They knew their innovative concept of selling souvenirs in airport vending machines was a great idea, but they met much resistance.

Armed with a purpose and a persistent spirit, Suzanne and Sarah overcame constant rejection and eventually convinced the airport to give their concept a try. Today, their business is receiving national attention and expanding across the country!

In the parable of the “Persistent Widow,” Jesus reveals the value of persistence. In Luke 18:5 we read that the judge in the story says, “Yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming!”

Once you’re confident of God’s direction, be persistent in prayer. God rewards perseverance!

Today’s “Integrity Moment” was adapted with permission from the writings of Matt Cline.
