A Good Friend
By: Rick Boxx
April 11, 2013

One of our luncheon speakers had to back out of their commitment, leaving us a short time to find someone new. After being turned down by numerous speakers, I became anxious.

We were down to the deadline for promotional materials, when God, during my quiet time, encouraged me to call Neal Johnson.

Neal had not been on my list of potential speakers, even though Neal is a good friend, and an accomplished speaker and author on faith at work. Because of our friendship, Neal completely turned his schedule upside down in order to serve us!

Ecclesiastes 4:10 teaches, “If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!”

Accumulating good friends, like Neal, is a worthy pursuit!
