Perfectly Honest
By Rick Boxx
April 12, 2011

Humorist, Phil Callaway, has written a new book titled, “To Be Perfectly Honest.” This book is an account of his one year journey of always telling the truth.

When he embarked on the project one of his biggest concerns was his marriage. He wondered if he could maintain a good relationship with his wife, when she asked those tricky questions like, “Does this dress make me look fat?”

The good news is his relationships remained healthy and Phil learned some valuable lessons. One thing he discovered about himself is that he will do almost anything to look good to others.

Proverbs 12:22 teaches, “The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.”

In the workplace there are many opportunities to lie, but the truth, in love, is better.
