Unrealistic Dreams
By Rick Boxx
April 11, 2011

Pastor John had an unrealistic dream of seeing the local $15 million vacant medical facility converted into a refuge for the disadvantaged.

Weeks later God led him to meet with the owner of this facility. In boldness Pastor John proclaimed, “You need to sell this property to us for $1 million so that we can provide for the disadvantaged in our community.”

Two months later this pastor’s unrealistic dream became reality.

In Luke 11, Jesus tells of a neighbor’s bold demands of another neighbor. Jesus said, “I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man’s boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.”

For unrealistic dreams to become reality, sometimes boldness is required.
