Hands-On Faith – Week of September 12

Hands-on Faith for Families – Week of September 12, 2016

Theme: Look Ahead

The Crown of Spendor

Scripture: Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained by a righteous life. (Proverbs 16:31).

Play: Try to spot gray or silver cars. See who can find the most.

Talk: The Bible talks about the color gray. Proverbs 16:31 says that “gray hair is the crown of splendor; it is attained by a righteous life.” This verse reminds us that we should respect our elders because they have lived a long time and learned what it means to be holy. What are ways you can show respect to the elderly people you know?

Pray: Spend a few moments praying for grandparents and elderly friends and neighbors.
