Remember Who You Are

Imagine that someone was trying to steal your inheritance by keeping you from claiming your rights as a son or daughter of royalty. Imagine that the strategy was to get you to doubt that you really had royal blood at all.

Satan is trying to steal your joy and persuade you to doubt your legal identity. Don’t let him. Through your adoption papers (i.e., baptismal certificate) God is named as your Father. St. Peter called you no less than God’s chosen people, God’s royal priests.

Your royal identity ironically explains why your life is so hard sometimes. “The Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in” (Proverbs 3:12). What a comfort it is to know that our loving Father has an eye on our hardships to make sure that we are not overwhelmed. What a comfort it is to know that none of our suffering is in vain—he will make every bit of it work for our good in one way or another. What a relief it is to know that he guarantees a happy ending and that only the middle chapters are hard.

My Father in heaven delights in me! Seriously!

Gay & God: Loving Everyone God Made and Everything God Wrote

Jesus wanted his people to be known for their love. But sadly, love is often the last thing homosexuals find in the church.

This brand-new resource from Time of Grace called Gay & Godshows youthe deep meaning and true significance of Jesus’ words, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”It also teaches you what the Bible actually says on the topic of homosexuality—and empowers you to show practically the love of Christ in a culture where being gay is the new normal.
