Never Alone

“Then I will ask My Father and He will give you another Helper. He will be with you forever. He is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot receive Him. It does not see Him or know Him. You know Him because He lives with you and will be in you.” John 14:16-17

THINK

God is everywhere. It’s a fact that is difficult to fully understand. But it’s true. And because it’s true, we have an opportunity each day to experience His presence in our lives. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are immediately filled with the Holy Spirit. We don’t have to go to a certain place to find God. He is right here with us. And that should give us a confidence like nothing else!

There is no situation we face where we are alone. There is nowhere we can go without the presence of God. We have the ultimate companion with us, all the time. Have you experienced the power of that presence?

PRAY

Pray for God to give you the perspective of His presence in your life. When you begin to feel alone, pray that you begin to feel His presence. And thank Him for the confidence that will bring you.

ACT

There are people all around you who need to hear about Jesus’ love and presence in their lives as well. Take the opportunity right now to text three people and invite them to church with you this weekend. Not only will the experience the presence of God; they’ll discover a community of people at Fellowship Church who want to help them get the most out of life!
