A Morning Request

Psalm 143:8

Yesterday, after flying ten hours and ten minutes from 10:10 PM Dallas time to 10:20 AM Sao Paulo time, I had to be ready for our first session beginning at 15:00 in the Escola De Pastores Riba , Master of Divinity Class on Exegesis and Exposition of Hosea. I need you to pray with me King David’s cry for hesed and for guidance.

“In the morning bring me word of your gracious covenant love (Your hesed), for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul.” - Psalm 143:8

LORD, as we begin the study of Hosea with these Brazilian pastors, Your gracious covenant love is the heartbeat of this bitter-sweet love story. By Your Spirit move these men and myself to not only experience the heartbreak You feel when we betray You but Your joy when we come home. Guide my words and every second of the instruction the next couple of weeks. Multiply the teaching from Hosea—so  filled with judgment but ending in grace—throughout the church in Brazil.
