Day 286

AVENGER

O Lord, the God who avenges,

O God who avenges, shine forth.

Psalm 94:1

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, abandon your senseless inner weapons. You cannot fight injustice by warring in your spirit. Vengeance is Mine; I am the avenger. I am well prepared to defend My children. What I allow to be removed, I will restore, and if not in this lifetime, the next. Your part is blessing—not cursing—your enemies. Let Me avenge My own—and My children's honor. I know the final chapter of  history because I wrote it.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
My heart cries out against injustice.  Whether in my own life, those around me, or ones I've never met, senseless violence and injuries to heart and mind beg for avenging. You, Lord, are the avenger. And I trust Your timing.

SIMPLE TRUTH

Hatred robs tomorrow of its triumph—and gives victory to the past.
