Why Are You Here? Saturday, August 9th 2014

Galatians 1:15-16

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,"
NKJV

"Why are you here?" Have you ever asked that question? Do you have a purpose more than just a day to day existence? There are many in our world that are going through life with no direction or purpose. When I hear about individuals in that situation it is upsetting because I know the joy that comes with living for Jesus. If you are a Christian and you are not involved in evangelism, you are probably not enjoying ministry. We should be sharing the Gospel of Christ. I know that just the thought of sharing your faith can bring up fears, but through the power of Christ we can overcome those fears in order to reach the lost. Let's go!

Life Lesson: You were created to reach and bless others and to help change the world.

Dear God,
Thank You for the good news of the Gospel. Help me to share this good news with all those around me. Remove my fears and replace those fears with faith. Give me the power of Your Spirit to reach the world with the Gospel. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Living to tell what He died to say,
Pastor David McGee
