BEAUTY

Read: Proverbs 31

Key Verse: “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30

Our culture has tried to define and focus on physical beauty to the point where immense pressure is placed on kids to look a certain way. Weight, dress sizes, muscles, and styles have been the emphasis, and it is the opposite of what the Bible says. God makes it clear that outward beauty is fleeting, and deceptive people employ charm. Do not buy into or get ripped off by the billions of dollars made by the promoters of these values.

A truly beautiful person is always beautiful because they are made and loved by God. They are secure in the acceptance and forgiveness of Jesus. Listening to the Lord and staying devoted to Him displays true priorities. You are most beautiful when you trust God, believe what He says about you, and ignore what the messages of the world try to tell you about yourself. Honor the Lord with all your heart, and His light will fill your soul.
