MAN OF FAITH

Read: Galatians 3

Key Verse: “So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.” - Galatians 3:9

Abraham trusted God when he left the familiarity of his home and people to venture where God was leading. Even though He did not have all of the details, He knew enough to continue on the road of faith. If God said there would be a promised land, Abraham knew it was worth the risk. What is God asking you to do before you see results? Are you waiting for sight or taking the initiative of faith? The greatest blessings often wait on the furthest out limb from your comfort zone.

God told Abraham his descendents would be as numerous as the sand on the beach and the stars in the sky. Abraham waited 25 years for his son Isaac to be born. Have you been waiting a long time for God to provide? Against all odds, God’s promises held true. Abraham was not made righteous through His efforts; it was his faith. What does it mean to be a man or woman of faith? What is helping your faith to grow? What intentional steps is God asking you to take even though you do not know the full story or future results?
