YOUR PURPOSE

Read: Psalm 57

Key Verse: “I cry out to God Most High, to God, who fulfills His purpose for me.” - Psalm 57:2

When disappointment, failure, frustration, and loneliness come near you, they want to undermine the fact that God has a rewarding purpose for you life. How can you see past the feelings of the moment and the dark cloud that is hanging over the current situation? David was on the run from Saul and his vicious attacks as he wrote this psalm, often living in caves.

The first step towards discovering your purpose is crying out to God! Then make yourself fully available to Him: this is worship and brings great hope. Begin to listen closely for God’s affirmation and direction for you through His Word, His Spirit, and His people. You have talents, opportunities, friendships, and a church family that will emerge. Your fulfillment will give God the glory, help people, and bring you joy.
