WILLING

Read: Psalm 54

Key Verse: “I will sacrifice a freewill offering to You; I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.” Psalm 54:6

How willing are you to serve God and praise Him? Do you hold back because of pride, fear of what people will think about you, or distorted priorities? Many people will serve God is there is a paycheck, enough applause, or a nice title to a position. What if there are no earthly rewards?

Being willing includes making the time and effort. Making excuses means excusing yourself from something God wants you to do. A willing heart is teachable. A willing person is available and easy to approach. A willing servant is eager to say yes when asked. We do have limits and boundaries, but a willing follower of Jesus will be exalted by God because of their humility.
