BY NIGHT

Read: Psalm 134

Key Verse: “Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord.” - Psalm 134:1

After the evening service, most of the people left the temple. The psalmist is recognizing and appreciating the Levites who continue to praise the Lord throughout the night. While most people are sleeping, there is a group of people who worship God, staying devoted in their role. Do you know many people who consistently go the extra mile? Have you thanked or acknowledged them recently?

Who brings meals to people who are struggling physically or financially?

Who is on their knees early in the morning, lifting up urgent prayer requests to God? Who cleans the bathrooms at church? Who cleans up in the kitchen when other people are enjoying conversation? Who gives rides to people without cars?

Who writes a letter to a lonely person? It is time to appreciate the servants of the Lord.
