THE FRUIT

Read: Psalm 128

Key Verse: “You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.” - Psalm 128:2

How do you spend your time, money, and energy in a typical day? God has given you many resources; how you invest them reveals your heart, future, and wisdom. What is the spiritual, relational, intellectual, and financial fruit that you desire? The quality of your life is related to how you spend yourself. Being lazy, distracted, full of excuses, and chasing trivial pleasures will lead to emptiness.

The first step in the right direction is to fear God and walk in His ways. When you honor God, blessings are released from heaven. Take some time to identify goals and projects that are from God. Check to see if your schedule is in alignment with your priorities. Describe your labor, and it will probably be obvious what the fruit will be. Do not settle for pleasing people or running after lesser dreams. God has given you great ability, now give Him your availability.
