Renewing Your Fellowship With God-Part 12

September 16

If we are going to renew or fellowship with God, we must abide in Him at all times. This means to simply walk day-by-day and moment-by-moment abiding in Him. We need to remember that we are partakers of the divine nature.

2 Peter 1:4– by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Do you realize that you have a sin nature within you, and the moment you were saved God stepped into your life, and because God is eternal and God is in you, you have eternal life. My friend, eternal life is not dying and going to heaven, eternal life is the very life of God living in you right now, and because it is eternal it has no beginning and it has no end. This life you received at salvation is a live that has no beginning and has no end. Therefore, you have been given a new past, present, and future. This is how God can say, Psalms 103: 12He has removed our sins as far from usas the east is from the west.”

Why? Because God no longer sees you in the first man Adam, God sees you in Christ Jesus and you are to abide in Him at all times. When you are abiding you see His care. When you are self-willed you feel all alone. When you are abiding you see His guidance. When you are self-willed you lack direction. When you are abiding you see His protection. When you are self-willed you feel vulnerable. My friend, abide in Christ today!
