Christ Our All In All – Part 11

June 30, 2014

John 11: 25Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”

You see Jesus went into death and on the third day He came out of it. This is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ that we celebrate. He went into death and came out of it, and listen, one day we will all enter into death, but because Christ is in us we shall be raised from the dead and we will have a new body like Christ glorious resurrections body. Why? Because Christ is our resurrection and we already have everything in Him.

Jesus said He is the Alpha and the Omega. Revelation 1:8“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”  Who is, Who was, and Who is to come…“I AM,” and He indwells us because we are created in His image and we are born again.  He lives in and through us. The words Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. You see Jesus is saying I am the first and the last, the one who begins your salvation and the One who completes it. We did not begin our salvation it is by grace, and we are not going to complete our salvation because that too is by grace. You see He is going to complete a good work in us as we abide in Him. It is a finished work!
